About The Team

About Us

The story of James A. Penney, III, DDA, PA begins in 1980 when Dr. Penney’s father purchased the property. In 1995, the doors officially opened, and we have been providing endodontic care ever since.

As specialist members of the American Association of Endodontists, we are a team of experienced endodontic staff led by specialist Dr. Penney. By providing the highest standard of professional care in a friendly, comforting environment, we serve the Little Rock community and their smiles!

Dr. James A Penney, DDS

James A. Penney is an Arkansas native. With a BS from the University of Central Arkansas and a DDS from the Univeristy of Tennessee Center for Health and Sciences in Memphis, he is an expert in all things Endodontics!

Dr. Penney is an active member of multiple associations in the dental and endodontic fields and teaches continuing education on the advancements of Endodontics.

Besides being an endodontist, James and his wife, Wendy, share a beautiful family with two children, Katherine and Jake.

Jennifer Dornblaser, RDA

Jennifer is also a senior member of the staff at James A. Penney. Jennifer has worked as a dental assistant for 20 years and has assisted Dr. Penney for 14 of those years. Currently, she is the smiling face at the front desk!

Outside of the office, Jennifer is a die-hard Chiefs fan. Her cousin is Patrick Mahomes! She has a family with her husband Michael, three children, and dog Milo. Jennifer loves going to the lake and sitting on the patio when the sun is shining.

Tiffany C. Whittington, CDA, RDA

Tiffany is a senior member of James A. Penney, having worked there for almost 20 years. She is one of the smiling faces you can find at the front desk and is also a dental assistant. She is an expert at all things administrative and is your right-hand woman!

Tiffany loves to read, and on Sundays, she teaches Sunday school for children ages two to three years old.

Lana Baker, RDA

Lana has worked as Dr. Penney’s dental assistant for 12 years. She is a native of Arkansas and is married to her husband Vince, with whom she shares four fur babies. Bella and Beau, both mini schnauzers, and Milo and Mojo, two cats.

In her free time, she loves to garden, spend time at the lake, read, and connect with friends and family.

Tabitha Basinger, RDA

Tabitha has worked with Dr. Penney and the team for six years and received her training at Pulaski Technical College.

Tabitha is the mother of two boys and loves to kayak, hike, and bowl in her spare time.

Wendy Penney

Wendy is Dr. Penney’s wife and the office manager of the practice. She pays company bills and runs important errands. She enjoys gardening, going to the lake, her 2 doggies and loves Disney World.

Our Office

Our office sits at its original location on Cantrell Road, where the doors opened in 1995. We have called our office home for almost 30 years, and we hope to continue offering endodontic care for many years to come.
